High altitude, volcanic soils and abundant rainfall provide the perfect environment for these Bourbon, Caturra, Tipica, Catimor and Pache coffee plants. Sourced from Asociacion Barillense de Agricultores, this association of small farmers work to provide better social and working conditions for their communities. Formed in 1989, today it has grown to over 1000 producers, 95 of whom are women. All members are certified organic, Fair Trade, Café Femenino and Bird Friendly Coffee.
