We are asked the question many different ways – Who’s in your tribe? Who’s in your community? Our groups may differ, but their importance does not. We are social creatures and our worlds become better places when we work together.
Snark is proud to be part of its community and has partnered with four charities. If you would like 10% of your coffee purchase price to be directed to one of our four charities, please indicate in the notes section of the checkout page.
International Children’s Awareness: A Canadian registered non-governmental organization since 1994 whose focus has evolved into working with communities in Cameroon in participative ways to ensure sustainable solutions in education and other areas of development.
Muskrat Watershed Council: Formed in 2013, located in Cobden, Ontario, this community-led organization has the key objective to investigate, promote, advocate and implement opportunities to improve water quality within the entire Muskrat Lake watershed.
Warhorse Project: A not-for-profit established in 2011 in Petawawa, Ontario, this is an equine-assisted psychotherapy program intended for Canadian Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and Corrections Officers who have been adversely affected by trauma.
Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre: Located in the Kawarthas, their goal is to protect and conserve Ontario’s native turtles and the habitat in which they live. They operate a turtle hospital that treats, rehabilitates and releases injured turtles. They also conduct extensive field research to further conservation initiatives and by running a comprehensive education and outreach program.
You can choose to support these groups simply by drinking Snark. It feels good to be able to give back, especially when you're still in your pyjamas.
